From our small store, showroom and workshop in Taunton, we build and sell our own bikes under the Hardtail Heaven name.
Dirt jump bikes, street jump bikes, hardtail mountain bikes, electric bikes & BMX builds all start with our frames and get built around the rider.

We’re not trying to be a giant online retailer listing thousands of parts we’ve never touched.
We sell a carefully selected range of clothing and accessories from quality trusted brands, tried and tested by us and suited to the bikes we make.

The workshop is where
the magic happens.
We work on all types of bikes, from everyday servicing and repairs to restorations of cherished heirlooms, electric bike conversions and full custom builds.
We’re also a certified e-bike centre for most major brands, with the knowledge to diagnose, repair and set up modern electric bikes properly.
Darren
Darren had a long and successful career in automotive design before retiring in 2024. He designs the bike frames and runs the business day to day.
Darren loves BMX and was there at the start of the sport. He even had a quarter pipe at home as a kid, along with a poster of Eddie Fiola on his wall.
Although now much older and not as brave as he once was, he has always owned a BMX throughout his entire adult life and still rides one at a sedate pace. Fitted with Skyways of course, and a long seat post so he can sit down.
Ollie
Ollie is our master mechanic. He is Cytech 1 and 2 qualified, level 3 suspension trained, Shimano trained, and qualified to work on most brands of electric bikes.
He works with most suspension systems including Fox and RockShox suspension systems.
Ollie rides a custom built Santa Cruz V10 downhill bike and used to race on the GT Virus downhill team at Elite level. He also rides a GT LaBomba dirt jump bike and has ridden Dirt Wars at The Malverns and is a previous winner of the famous Lake Ride.
Harvey
Harvey is our apprentice and his most important task is the morning Greggs run.
He is learning the bike industry, although why he’d want to, we’re still not entirely sure.
Harvey can be found riding trails at Triscombe four to five times a week with his mates. He rides a custom built Haibike with a Bosch motor and also has a dirt jump bike for the pump tracks.
